Paul Christman: Christman played for the Cardinals from 1945 to 1949. He led the team to an NFL Championship in 1947. The team won the NFL West in 1948 under Christman as well. Christman was a two-time All-Pro with the Cardinals in 1946 and 1947. He threw for 7,294 career passing yards with 58 touchdowns and 76 interceptions. He ran for eight touchdowns as well. Jim Hart: Hart played 18 years for the then St. Louis Cardinals. He’s the team’s career passing leader with 34,639 yards. He also holds the team record for touchdowns, interceptions and wins. Hart went 87-88-5 with the Cardinals. The Southern Illinois product was a four-time Pro Bowler. He was also named the UPI NFC Offensive Player of the Year in 1974. That season he had 2,411 yards, 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He led the Cardinals to a 10-4 record. Hart led St. Louis to the playoffs in 1974 and 1975. Neil Lomax: Lomax led the Cardinals for eight up and down seasons. He was drafted in the second round out of Portland State in 1981 and started seven games his rookie season. Lomax led the Cardinals to the playoffs in 1982. They lost to the Packers 41-16 in his lone playoff start. Lomax made the Pro Bowl twice during his Cardinals career in 1984 and 1987. In 1987, Lomax led the league in completions, attempts and yards. In 1984, he threw for 4,614 yards and 28 touchdowns while leading the then St. Louis Cardinals to a 9-7 record. Jake Plummer: Plummer was drafted No. 42 overall in 1997 out of Arizona State. He led the Cardinals for six years before signing with the Broncos as a free agent in 2003. Plummer led the Cardinals to the playoffs in 1998 when the team went 9-7. That season, Plummer threw for 3,737 yards, 17 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. “Jake the Snake” was an underrated runner during his NFL career. He totaled 1,853 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground during his career. Take Our Poll
