Tyler Skaggs is in an interesting place in his baseball career. It seems to happen to many youngsters, often times more so to pitchers. Skaggs is in a weird little spot where he’s outgrown the minor leagues, but hasn’t shown the type of performance in the majors consistently enough to justify his unconditional stay with the big league club.

With 40 percent of their starting rotation down, the Diamondbacks will be excited to get at least half of their injured starters back soon, as Brandon McCarthy is set to begin rehabbing later this week.
