Sometimes things get a little fuzzy after a night in the pub. Here’s a friendly reminder of what you might have missed while you were drinking.
The Padres dropped the opener at Fenway Park by a score of 4-1. John Lackey looked like his old self and Robbie Erlin couldn’t quite get the Sox to fish for what he was offering. As the Padres drop to 40-44 they still remain only 2.5 games behind Arizona (42-41) who also continue to lose. Colorado has inched into second place, the Giants have slid into last, and the Dodgers are now tied with the Padres.
Edinson Volquez and John Lester meet for game two, today at 4:10pm.
