The Chicago White Sox signed a pair of left-handed pitchers on Thursday.
Agreeing to contracts were Donnie Veal and Jose Quintana.
Veal underwent Tommy John surgery in 2010 and spent last season in the minors with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was 1-0 with a 7.16 ERA in 19 outings with the Pirates in 2009.
