I literally said wait, what? when I saw this five minutes ago. The Chicago White Sox have exercised the option on reliever, Jason Frasor.  The veteran right-hander will be set to make a cool 3.5 million dollars in 2012.  Frasor was acquired from the Blue Jays, along with Zach Stewart, for Edwin Jackson.  He posted a 5.09 ERA for the White Sox in 20 games.  The Illinois native with go along side Jesse Crain as the two main right-handed set-up men. Seems like a giant waste of 3.5 million dollars.  Plus, I’m 99 percent sure he was a B-comp.  Which was kind of the whole reason behind acquiring him with Jackson; considering Jackson was a B-comp as well.  Frasor is good and all, but for 3.5M what does that actually do for the White Sox?  You could get 6th-7th inning guy for 400K in your minors.  For a team financially strapped as is, I just don’t get it. Just another headscratcher.
