The Chicago White Sox pushed Jake Peavy's next start to Tuesday in an attempt for the righthander to build up additional strength in his arm. Philip Humber (8-5, 3.10 ERA) will take the mound against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, which was Peavy's originally scheduled start. Peavy (4-3, 5.27 ERA) expressed a lack of velocity and sharpness following his last start prior to the All-Star break. The 30-year-old hurler permitted five runs on 10 hits in 4 1/3 innings against the Minnesota Twins.
