The Chicago White Sox pushed Jake Peavy's next start to Tuesday in an attempt for the righthander to build up additional strength in his arm.
Philip Humber (8-5, 3.10 ERA) will take the mound against the Detroit Tigers on Sunday, which was Peavy's originally scheduled start.
