White Sox utility player Brent Lillibridge suffered a broken hand when he was hit by a pitch during Chicago's 8-1 win over Cleveland on Thursday and will miss the remainder of the regular season. Lillibridge was hit by Indians reliever Josh Judy during Chicago's seven-run rally in the seventh. He remained in the game to run the bases, but was removed after the inning. X-rays revealed a fracture on the outer part of his right hand. ''It hurt bad and got checked out,'' Lillibridge said after the game. ''It's frustrating, but I'll be around as much as I can.'' The versatile Lillibridge emerged as one of Chicago's most valuable players this season, hitting .258 with 13 homers while starting five different positions.
