Bleacher Report:
I don't have a ton to say, but I am truly interested what other people are thinking on this topic. After two ultimately poor performances against the unimpressive Orioles it leaves me wondering who we would start in a playoff game.
There is one obvious pick, and that is Scott Feldman. He didn't even start the season in the rotation, but he has 15 wins and he has won 11 on the road, which is where we would most likely start the playoffs. He has been far and away our best starter in the second half.
I think my second pick would have to be Tommy Hunter because he has pitched so well. He is 7-3 with a 3.14 ERA, and has just pitched beautifully. He has a strikeout to walk ratio of 2:1 and only Derek Holland is better amongst starters.
There is no way I trust Millwood out there with how he has pitched in the second half. It is almost like he had a first great half, and now that he knows his contract has to get picked up for next year he do...
