We’ve all heard a million times about how Alex Rodriguez was no good during the playoffs. Intelligent people just assumed it was a sample size issue while the ignorant paraded around as if they knew something about A-Rod’s personality that others did not. Well, A-Rod has now won a World Series. In all honesty I had never checked out A-Rod’s postseason stats because I didn’t really care. He wasn’t any different a hitter in October than he was the other 6 months of the year. Wreckard pointed out something interesting in the previous thread. Wreckard copied and pasted something from Deadspin, but I’d prefer not to link to a gossip site like that. Anyway, here are A-Rod’s career stats from B-Ref.
