Ever since the Indians got Ublado Jimenez in a last minute deal with the Rockies, you just never know if the real Jimenez is going to show up on the mound. It almost seems like there are two Ubaldo’s. Each time he makes a start you have to wonder if Jimenez will have control of his fast ball. When he does, he throws a great game. Last time Jimenez had control like that he struck out 10 hitters. The Indians start a series today that can determine the Tribes fate fro the rest of the season, Tribe Manager Manny Acta knows this. Each day the Tribe manager Acta receives a packet of standings on his desk. As long as the Tribe skipper doesn’t see an X next to the Indians name he knows there is still hope the Indians can make it into the fall play-offs. Acta has been able somehow to put a team together on a day by day bases. Manny Acta has had to rely on players he brings up from Columbus this past week and he has been able to put a team on the field that is competitive. Jimenez...
