The Los Angeles Dodgers continued their franchise makeover under their new ownership group Thursday when they hired longtime baseball executive Bob Wolfe as executive vice president. Wolfe worked with Dodgers president and CEO Stan Kasten in both Washington and Atlanta, serving as executive vice president of the Nationals from 2006-2011 and having various roles with the Braves, including serving as senior vice president of administration from 1992-2003. "Bob was integral to the success we enjoyed in Atlanta and Washington," Kasten said, "and his experience and skill at implementing improvements will be most welcome as we move forward with our work here in Los Angeles." Wolfe, who also worked with Kasten with the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA in the 1980s, is said to be well-versed in baseball and facility management, including stadium development and operations, finance and administration, sales and marketing, food and retail services, and minor league business ...
