X-rays of Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre's left knee taken Tuesday night were negative.
Beltre fouled a ball off his knee in the fourth inning and clearly was hobbled by the injury. He remained in the game but was visibly limping with what is being called a bruised knee.
Beltre is expected to play Wednesday in Game 4 of the American League Championship Series vs. the Detroit Tigers. He is 4-for-13 in the series.
In the AL Division Series, Beltre hit three homers in the Game 4 clincher vs. Tampa Bay.
