Oy vey! New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez is acting up again, and as a fan I don’t appreciate his antics. A-Rod is not exactly the poster boy for good judgment off the baseball field. But considering the current state of the Yankees offense, A-Rod could be a little more selfless about his health. Here is a timeline of A-Rod’s latest public antics that are messing with Yankee fans heads. 05/13/13 at 10:10am - Joins twitter. Here is A-Rod’s first tweet: back to basics. http://t.co/MFCHhwdiC1 — Alex Rodriguez (@AROD) May 31, 2013 06/25/13 at 7pm - With seven rehab updates in between, A-Rod’s scandalous tweet came on this day. • I'm not trying to be an ARod apologist, but what the hell is wrong with the guy saying that his doctor has given him a clean bill of health? It's not like he tried to say exactly when he would be back in the lineup. I would expect him to be excited about being able to play again. Cashman back pedaled and apologized for his unprofessional response, he should have just talked to ARod behind the scenes and advised him to curb his public enthusiasm in the future. Everyone wants to rip this guy and I admit he brings much of it on himself, but being excited about getting back on the field is no reason to jack the guy up. Lord knows the Yankees need their star playersback and soon.
