Addison Maruszak is the starting third baseman for the Tampa Yankees. He also plays first base. He was selected out of the University of South Florida by the New York Yankees in the 17th round (530th overall) of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft. He is 23 years old and stands at 6’1 and weighs 195 lbs. He bats right-handed and throws right-handed.
He leads Tampa with a .321 batting average and has only made four errors. He’s been on the disabled list for a wile. In his last 10 games he is batting .306 with four runs scored and 11 hits and eight RBI. Talk about a real hero, wow.
The strange thing about right-handed hitter Addison is that he hits right-handed pitchers better than left-handed pitchers and at a much higher clip. He bats .350 against right-handed batters and .271 against left-handed batters.
We look forward to following Addison Maruszak’s career.
