That has to be it. I cannot believe that Kevin Youkilis is that much of a jerk that he wouldn't call Joba Chamberlain back after the pitcher called him to extend an olive branch, in an effort to put their past incidents behind them.I came to this conclusion almost as soon as I heard that ESPN New York' s Andrew Marchand was reporting that Joba was still waiting to hear back from Youk.I could understand him not calling Joba back if he had not signed with the Yankees and was still on another team. But why would he continue to hold a grudge now that the two of them were teammates? Even if he did still hold a grudge, calling Joba back is the right thing to do, so that a united front can be presented to the public.I know this isn't a huge story. It's not as important as the search for a righty-hitting outfielder or starting catcher. But Youkilis needs to put this thing to rest already. To paraphrase Marchand, "Hey Youk, call Joba back!"
