Joe Buck is the subject of a lot of scorn among baseball watchers, but he did something awfully cool to put the proper finishing note on a Game 6 for the ages. As David Freese's ball was sailing over the center field fence, Buck stole a line from his father Jack and told us that he's see us all tomorrow night. That's the same call Jack Buck gave when Kirby Puckett forced Game 7 in 1991, a game that is one of the best in baseball history and Thursday night's game might have been sloppier but it is certainly memorable. Who knows if we are in for the same kind of gift from the baseball gods on Friday night? What we do know is that Thursday night's 10-9 Cardinals win was full of so much ridiculousness that it would have been fitting if Joe Buck stole another one of his father's calls when it was all said and done. "I don't believe what I just saw." The Cardinals trailed five different times and came back to win. They were down to their final str...

Joe Buck Jacked His Dad’s Game 6 Game-Winning Home Run World Series Call

Notice anything similar between these two videos? It’s a great call. I’m on the fence about whether or not I should get on Joe for not being original. Let’s face it; sons want to be like their dad. I’m cool with it. I like Jack Buck’s call better.

FOX real winner after compelling playoffs

For Major League Baseball, FOX and announcer Joe Buck, score the 2011 World Series and indeed the playoffs as the equivalent of a triple play -- the year where in TV terms, almost everything broke their way. Down to call, Game 6 echoes blast from past

With FOX broadcaster Joe Buck echoing his father's well-known call by saying, "We will see you tomorrow night," after the Cardinals' epic 10-9 win over the Rangers in Game 6 of the World Series on Thursday, it conjured memories of the Twins' win in similar fashion over the Braves in Game 6 of the 1991 World Series.

That happened (David Freese)

And to top it off, Joe Buck calls the HR just like his father did in the '91 World Series.  Impossibly great moment.
