Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here... highlighting the big storyline. Because there's nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. We are at that point in Jose Iglesias’ season where a multiple-hit game no longer draws notice. Seventeen of his 34 games have featured at least two hits. He had three last night. When somebody does a neat trick every other day, it’s tough to work up the proper amount of shock and awe, but what stood out about Iglesias’ hat trick last night was that it came in his first game as the everyday third baseman of the Red Sox. That makes it special. Herald: Iglesias' big nights are everyday things  This isn't everyday yet. Not when you have someone like Nick who has finally jumped on the Jose Iglesias bandwagon that Scott has been driving for years.  Iglesias' three hit night brought up his average to an absurd .434. And while he's not hitting for power, he's at least hitting it in the gaps and getting some extra base hits, which has also led to his crazy OPS of 1.059. That's nearly three times as much as last season (.391). With Middlebrooks heading down, Iglesias playing third from here on out is more than ideal. Maybe Middlebrooks can look at Iglesias as motivation considering what he has gone through and how he's playing now.   Rest of the Links: Globe: Sox pound out win | Dempster delivers as Sox roll | Ross moved to 60-day DL | Morales heads to DL | Herald: Pedro glad to pitch in | Middlebrooks sent to minors | Pedroia rocks on | CSNNE: Dempster continues to find stride | Sox tap Rockies for 11-4 win | Sox demote struggling Middlebrooks | Season-high 20 hits for Sox | WEEI: The value of Dempster | Sox rampage over Rockies
