Injury Updates: Tony Watson, Charlie Morton, Ali Solis
Yesterday the Pirates had several players rehabbing over at Pirate City. Tony Watson threw an inning in one of the minor league games, while Charlie Morton threw a bullpen and live batting practice, and Ali Solis took live batting practice. Pirates Outright Ali Solis to Indianapolis; Morton Activated From DL
According to the MLB.com transactions page, the Pittsburgh Pirates have outrighted catcher Ali Solis to Triple-A. Solis was claimed off of waivers last week from the Padres, apparently for the sole purpose of the Pirates trying to put him through waivers and send him to Indianapolis.
