The San Diego Padres have obtained right-hander Brandon Kloess from the Chicago White Sox for outfielder Blake Tekotte. Blake Tekotte was a 3rd round pick in 2008. After being named a Cal League All Star in 2010, he finished the year with a great .276/.367/.478 line with 18 HR and 28 SB. He followed it up with an even more impressive 2011 campaign, which saw him earn his 1st big league promotion in late May. Tekotte had 2 hits in his 1st 2 big league AB, and managed to make a name for himself among Padre fans.
