Chicago White Sox Option Outfielder Blake Tekotte
The Chicago White Sox have optioned outfielder Blake Tekotte to Triple-A Charlotte. Appearing in three games, he played left field, right field and center field in the brief stint. He has a good shot at making it back to the parent club later this summer.

Padres get RHP Kloess from Chisox for OF Tekotte
The San Diego Padres have obtained right-hander Brandon Kloess from the Chicago White Sox for outfielder Blake Tekotte.
The 27-year-old Kloess was a combined 6-3 with a 2.69 ERA for Double-A Birmingham and Triple-A Charlotte this year. He struck out 70 in 73 2-3 innings.
Tekotte, 25, was designated for assignment Friday. A third-round draft pick in 2008, he hit .163 (8 for 49)...

The 2011 season was something of a whirlwind for outfielder Blake Tekotte, who began the season with Double-A San Antonio and played 19 games in the big leagues with the Padres before heading back to San Antonio to help the Missions win the Texas League title.
