Cotham to miss rest of season with torn meniscus cartilage

Reds reliever Caleb Cotham will miss the rest of the season because of torn meniscus cartilage in his right knee, manager Bryan Price said on Sunday. Cotham will have surgery to repair his knee on Tuesday, with team medical director Dr. Tim Kremchek performing the procedure.

Reds relievers set dubious runs-allowed record

On Tuesday in the top of the eighth inning, the Giants scored two runs against Cincinnati reliever Caleb Cotham to snap a 1-1 tie. That made it 21 consecutive team games with at least one run allowed by the Reds bullpen to set a single-season record.
