A Loss, Johnson and Tillman
Well, the Baltimore Orioles lost last night to the San Diego Padres, 3-2, in a thrilling game that didn’t end very well.
They rallied in the eighth inning, breaking a 1-1 tie, thanks to a stolen base and heads-up base running by Alexi Casilla, followed by an RBI single from Steve Pearce.
Baltimore was stifled for much of the night by San Diego starter Andrew Cashner; however...
Mendoza, Royals battle Orioles at Camden Yards
(AP) -- Chris Tillman had one of the best performances of his career in his last start.
He's also had some of his worst against the Kansas City Royals.
Tillman will try to pitch the Orioles to a season-best fourth straight win Wednesday night against the visiting Royals.
After going 0-1 with a 7.07 ERA in his first three starts this season, Tillman (2-1, 3.63 ERA) is 2-0 with...

Tillman Delivers Out West
After splitting their series with the Seattle Mariners, the Baltimore Orioles headed down to Disneyland – ok, Anaheim, California – to face the Los Angeles Angels.
The series in Seattle for the Orioles, in my mind, was one they could have easily won if the pitching and defense had held their own; however, they bounced back with a 5-1 win over the Angels.
I stayed up...

Better Know a 2012 Oriole: Chris Tillman
In part nine of my (hopefully) 52 part series, Better Know a 2012 Oriole, I take a look at Chris Tillman... the fightin' returning fastball!
"'When the Orioles acquired Chris Tillman from the Mariners in the Erik Bedard trade, he was considered a top prospect. Mid 90s fastball, big curve, good numbers in the minors at a young age. Tillman continued that minor league...
O's Defeat Yankees, Chris Tillman and O's Stand Pat at the Trade Deadline...
When Chris Tillman steps on the mound, one of two things often happen: he is either extremely good, or he just flat out isn't very good. His consistency has always been an issue throughout his Oriole tenure, but he has looked much better in his handful of starts in 2012; however, last night, the bad Chris Tillman returned for a while as he gave up five runs in the opening...

Tillman Just Plain Bad; Orioles Killed By Twins...
After Saturday’s thrilling win against the Detroit Tigers, things seem to have only gotten worse for the Orioles. They lost on Sunday, and figured their first stop on a weeklong road trip against the woeful Minnesota Twins might do some good.Sadly, it would not go as planned. The Orioles were hoping for another good start from Chris Tillman and were optimistic in his abilities...

What About Chris Tillman?
When I look at Chris Tillman, I see a prototypical young pitcher – tall, good-sized and a guy who should throw in the high-90’s. However, during his tenure with the Baltimore Orioles, Tillman has been a bust. Overall, he has been an extraordinarily inconsistent pitcher and fans – along with executives – have been wondering “will this guy ever figure it out? Is Tillman...
