NEW YORK (AP) Right-hander Ben Rowen has agreed to a minor league contract with the New York Mets and will attend big league spring training. TORONTO (AP) The Toronto Blue Jays have claimed right-hander Matt West off waivers from the Texas Rangers. The Blue Jays made the move Wednesday. The 26-year-old West made his major league debut last season, pitching four innings over three games for Texas. He had a 6.75 ERA and no decisions.
