Texas Rangers Recall Cory Burns, Disable Alexi Ogando
The Texas Rangers had to place starting right-handed pitcher Alexi Ogando on the 15-day disabled list Thursday due to tendinitis in his biceps. Taking his spot on the active roster will be reliever Cory Burns who was recalled from their Triple-A Round Rock minor league affiliate. The right-handed Burns will serve as a middle reliever.
