Mets Recall Danny Muno, Option Johnny Monell

The Mets announced they have called up infielder Daniel Muno from Triple-A Las Vegas. This will be the second time around for Muno, who had one hit in six plate appearances for the Mets earlier this season. He was hitting .280 with one home run and 12 RBI in 100 at-bats for Las Vegas on the year. To make room for Muno, the Mets optioned catcher Johnny Monell back to Triple-A.
