Report: Darnell McDonald Re-Signs With Cubs on Minor League Deal

Darnell McDonald is staying put. The Cubs re-signed McDonald to a minor league deal, according to Baseball America’s Matt Eddy. McDonald appeared in 25 games with Chicago in 2013. McDonald spent most of his 2013 season with Triple-A Iowa. He hit .236 (62-for-263) with four homers and 26 RBIs in 92 games with Iowa, and hit .302 (16-for-53) with a homer and five RBIs at the big league...
