ALTOONA - Akron Aeros' new additions showed their worth Tuesday as the team struck back and earned a 5-0 win to tie up the series with the Altoona Curve 1-1.
The recently promoted Will Roberts started on the mound for the Aeros. The 6-foot-5-inch pitcher earned his first win in a Double-A league as he recorded four strikeouts and pitched six scoreless innings.
