DAYAN VICIEDO RUMORS

Mariners fan catches foul ball, doesn’t lose a fry

Check out this fan catch from Sunday’s White Sox-Mariners game. The catch by this fan on this sinking liner hit by Dayan Viciedo was fine – nothing really outstanding, especially given that the fan was a grown man wearing a glove. But for him to make that catch while holding a tray full of fries, and not lose even one fry? I’ll give that a golf clap.

Viciedo’s Numbers Down There With the Worst of ‘Em

Over his last 92 at-bats, the once hot Dayan Viciedo has cooled off mightily, posting a .207 batting average and .598 OPS. And, with Robin Ventura hinting at the possibility of an Avisail Garcia return in September, Viciedo’s lack of offensive and defensive production could make him an odd man out in the Sox outfield. Viciedo’s problem begins and ends with his plate discipline...

Dayan Viciedo's 3-run homer keys White Sox win over Jays

Chicago White Sox: Viciedo’s blast gets series win

The Chicago White Sox wrapped up a successful homestand Sunday with a 4-3 victory over the Mariners. The long ball has been friendly to the White Sox this week and yesterday was no exception. Adam Dunn, Alex Rios, and Dayan Viciedo all had home runs, bringing the club’s total to 11 in just six games. While Dunn’s and Rios’ blasts were obviously important, it was Viciedo’s...
