The Nationals will give him some time before having him take batting practice on the field.

Ironically, the players we are profiling today arguably had better seasons than they had in the past...

A Nationals practice was interrupted on Thursday when a large bird believed to be an osprey flying overhead dropped a fish on the field, terrifying outfielder Denard Span.
Denard Span spent last night in D.C. dining at the Chophouse, and spent today Tweeting his way around town: getting shots and visiting his new place of employment and eating at Ben's Chili Bowl, capping things off by taking in the Wizards-Lakers game.
