Moseley had extensive damage to his rotator cuff and labrum. He made just one start, against Los Angeles on April 7. He was placed on the disabled list the next day and an MRI exam revealed the damage.

San Diego Padres righthander Dustin Moseley avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year deal worth just over $2 million on Tuesday.
Moseley, who will make $2,012,500, posted a 3-10 mark with a 3.30 ERA in 20 starts last season.
