Dodgers' Elian Herrera hit in the head
Being hit by a pitch is part of the game, but it doesn't always result in an injury. When being hit by a pitch does result in an injury, it can be devastating to a team and a player. Just ask Curtis Granderson. However, there is nothing more frightening than a pitch that rides up and in and hits a player in the head. That's what happened to Elian Herrera of the...

Elian Herrera Has Played His Role, But Don’t Raise Your Expectations Of Him
I’ll be the first to give Elian Herrera a hearty congrats on a nice start to his career and for playing his role perfectly in relief of Mark Ellis, but let’s also make no mistake about the future. With some speculating that he could be a regular down the road, I just wanted to remind
Elian Herrera not slowing down with Dodgers
OAKLAND The improbable success of Elian Herrera shows no signs of ebbing, much to the Dodgers' delight.

Herrera was promoted to the Dodgers on May 14 when third baseman Juan Uribe was placed on the disabled list with a left wrist injury. Now the Dodgers will be without starting...

Report: Elian Herrera on his way to the Dodgers
Elian Herrera
Wait, who? Oh, Elian Herrera (I'll give you a few minutes to look him up).
Tony Jackson of ESPN LA tweeted the news tonight:
"I'm told Elian Herrera on his way up. Not sure what it means other than that Gordon probably will move out of leadoff spot"
Not sure what to make of this, other than the Dodgers might be making a rash decision...
