MLB News: In a move that went under the radar for the most part, the Atlanta Braves signed former San Diego Padres farmhand Erik Hamren to a minor league deal on Friday. In his only season of major league experience, Hamren went 1-0 in 12.1 innings pitched, striking out 10 and walking 9. Posting a 4.38 earned run average he is known for having a rather wild side.
