A’s pitcher Fernando Rodriguez has torn UCL
Fernando Rodriguez reportedly has a torn UCL—ulnar collateral ligament if you’re keeping score at home—in his right elbow and will likely need season-ending Tommy John surgery.

Miguel Buendia Escapes with a Draw at PAP Gloves & Guitars
Just as expected, it was a night of knockouts at the Gloves and Guitars boxing event held at the Fort Worth Convention Center on Saturday night. Thanks to Paulie Ayala Promotions, and the fanatic boxing fans that did attend, it was one of the fastest boxing events that I have ever attended. And that is because the boxers came out to take care of business as fast as they could on...
Miguel Buendia Returns at Paulie Ayala’s Gloves and Guitars in Fort Worth
The last time I saw Miguel Buendia (7-1, 4KO’s) it was only three short months ago when he knocked out the tough Abraham Esquivel (4-2) in the fifth round. Buendia is coming into this fight after two consecutive knockouts and appears to be in great shape according to his own statement on our own Combat Sports TV interview. He is also coming into this fight after being part of...

Few fighters guarantee an evening of excitement quite like Fort Worth’s Miguel Buendia and Dallas’ Fernando Rodriguez. Neither fighter has met a fight they didn’t like and their penchant for encaging in roaring slugfests have given them a following here in North Texas. Now, when you put the both...
