HANSEL ROBLES RUMORS

When Hansel Robles Is Good, He’s very Good

When he’s good, he’s very, very good; and when he’s not, well, not so much.  The Binghamton Mets were happy, Hansel Robles was very, very, good Saturday night in the night cap of their double header... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]

Mets Minors: Hansel Robles is someone to watch

In 2012, Hansel Robles was part of one of the best rotations you could imagine in the New York Penn League.  His 1.11 ERA over 12 games with 66 Ks over 72.2 IP was almost forgotten amongst the pitching of Luis Mateo, Gabriel Ynoa and Rainy Lara. Advancing to Port St. Lucie in 2013 he became more forgettable.  His 3.72 ERA and 66 Ks over 16 games and 84.2 IP was fine, but hardly...

Mets Minors: Robles Looks Strong In St. Lucie’s First Loss Of The Year

St. Lucie Mets 0, Palm Beach Cardinals 1 Hansel Robles took the mound for the Mets on Wednesday night, after leaving the St. Lucie Opener last week with an apparent oblique injury. Hansel Robles Arm OK, Could Be Oblique Strain

Friday, 3:00 PM Update Looks as if Hansel Robles and the Mets dodged a bullet, and it was not an arm injury that forced Robles out of yesterday’s game. Adam Rubin reported that Robles was favoring his side, so it could be that he simply strained an oblique muscle on his pick-off attempt. While no injury is good news, this is much better than hearing that it is an arm injury...

Hansel Robles Leaves St. Lucie Mets Opener With Apparent Arm Injury

Well, this is surely unfortunate… Hansel Robles had to leave the opener in St. Lucie tonight in the fourth inning with an undisclosed arm injury. The injury supposedly occurred on an errant pick-off throw. Up to the point he was hurt, Robles had a stat line of 3.1 IP with two earned runs allowed off five hits with six strikeouts. We recently ranked Robles as our #20 prospect here...

MMO Top 25 Prospects: #20 (Robles) Through #16 (Leathersich)

It is my turn to roll out some profiles on who we feel are the top prospects in the Mets minor league system right now. As Sean mentioned in the first post of the series, which you can read here, the list was compiled after much deliberation, arguing, and name-calling. To be honest, a lot of that had to do with my new name being Perseus and Sean requesting to be addressed as Batman…but...

Mets 2013 Spring Training Preview: Hansel Robles

Three days into 2013 and it seems like a good time to start diving into Spring Training Previews because it’s baseball and I’m over winter. Hansel Robles is 5’11″ right-handed pitcher who is 22 and currently in the Mets farm system. The Mets signed Robles in 2008 as an internal league free agent. He’s been in the Mets farm system for 4 seasons now and was added to the Mets...
