Marlins trade P Badenhop to Rays

The Tampa Bay Rays have acquired right-hander Blake Badenhop from the Miami Marlins in exchange for minor league catcher Jake Jefferies. Badenhop has spent the first four seasons of his career with Florida. The 38-year-old went 2-3 with a 4.10 ERA in 50 appearances last season. Jefferies was a third-round pick in 2008. He spent a bulk of last season at Class-A Charlotte.
