“The Cleveland Indians today announced DH TRAVIS HAFNER has been placed on the 15-day Disabled List (retroactive to August 6) with lower back inflammation. To replace Hafner on the 25-man roster the Indians recalled INF JASON DONALD from Triple-A Columbus.
Hafner begins his second stint on the Major League DL this season and is hitting .239 (48-201) with 6 doubles...

Outfielder Shelley Duncan is back with Cleveland, and the Indians optioned infielder Jason Donald to Triple-A Columbus.
