The triple doesn't get the credit it deserves, even when it is considered the most exciting play in baseball. The MLB all-time leader in triples is Sam Crawford. He played 19 years and record 309 of them. The next closest active player is Carl Crawford with 116. Give Crawford 20 more years of playing and he still won't come close to breaking it.
