Indians know Lowe, Slowey are winners
It's possible that the Indians' rotation in 2012 could include Derek Lowe and Kevin Slowey. Those two pitchers' combined won-lost record last year was 9-25. Nevertheless, Tribe officials are optimistic about the chances of both pitchers making big contributions this season.

Can Kevin Slowey Replace “Fausto Carmona”?
Other than noting the unfortunate nature of the whole story, I don’t have much to say about the pitcher formerly known as Fausto. From what I can gather, it sounds like he’s not going to make it to Spring Training. Which, I believe, means he’ll be put on the “restricted” list, a form of MLB purgatory wherein you do not receive a paycheck. It’s mostly a sad story...

The Minnesota Twins have traded winless pitcher Kevin Slowey to the Colorado Rockies for a player to be named.
The deal was announced Tuesday during baseball's winter meetings.
