Marcus Thames set to retire

Marcus Thames has decided to retire and move on to coaching. Thames will become the Tampa Yankees (Yankees High-A club)  hitting coach. The move was announced via Tampa's twitter account. Thames last appeared in the Majors in 2011 when he signed a one-year deal with the Dodgers. He appeared in 36 games that season hitting .197/.243/.333 with only two home runs and 16 strikeouts...
