Angels RHP Kohn to have Tommy John surgery
Los Angeles Angeles reliever Michael Kohn will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery.
Kohn will have the procedure Thursday after he was diagnosed with a torn elbow ligament by Dr. James Andrews.
The 25-year-old Kohn made 14 appearances with the Angels last year, going 0-1 with a 3.70 ERA.

Angels' Kohn to miss rest of season
Los Angeles Angels right-hander Michael Kohn needs elbow ligament-replacement surgery and will miss the rest of the season..
The Angels made the announcement on Wednesday after Kohn visited orthopedist Dr. James Andrews. Kohn is scheduled to have the surgery on Thursday.
