MIKE LIEBERTHAL RUMORS

Who's the Best Phillies Catcher of All Time?

With Spring Training 2014 quickly approaching the boys gathered at the Philly Pressbox for a few cold beverages and some baseball talk. That led us to the conversation of Who's the Best Phillies...

Lieberthal humbled to enter Wall of Fame

Thinking Back on the Career of Mike Lieberthal, A Phillies Favorite Through the Lean Years

Wikipedia Commons Tonight the Phillies will induct catcher Mike Lieberthal to the Phillies Wall of Fame prior to tonight's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.  My teenage through early adult years of Phillies baseball were perhaps some of the leanest times in recent Phillies history, but one steady favorite was Mike Lieberthal, who transformed from a .200 hitting catcher...

Are we really honoring Mike Lieberthal?

Mike Lieberthal to the Phillies Wall of Fame? To borrow a quote from the former catcher, "Whatever." I bought tickets to the Phillies Wall of Fame Game this season, as I have a few times the past couple of years, because I have found it to be a neat experience to see some of the franchise's great players come back for a celebration as a new player is...
