Jeff Clement Selected; Oscar Tejeda Designated for Assignment
PITTSBURGH, Pa. — The Pittsburgh Pirates today selected infielder Jeff Clement from High-A Bradenton, and will be active for the game today. In order to make room for Clement on the 40-man roster, the club designated infielder Oscar Tejeda for assignment. The Pirates also transferred infielder Chase d’Arnaud from Bradenton to Triple-A Indianapolis.
