Cubs re-sign Shawn Camp to one-year deal

The Chicago Cubs have agreed to a one-year, $1.35 million deal with right handed reliever Shawn Camp according to Carrie Muskat of MLB.com. The deal includes $200,000 in performance bonuses adds Muskat. Camp, 37, went 3-6 with a 3.59 ERA, 6.3 K/9, 2.4 BB/9, 0.8 HR/9 and a 3.69 FIP in 77.2 innings pitched for the Cubs in 2012. Cubs re-sign reliever Camp

The Chicago Cubs re-signed right-handed relief pitcher Shawn Camp to one-year deal worth $1.35 million, MLB.com reported Monday. Camp, 37, could also earn up to $200,000 in incentives. Camp had a 3.59 ERA over 78 innings with 54 strikeouts and 21 walks. In the past five years, Camp has a 3.62 ERA in 335 innings.
