Bakersfield Loses in Ninth

In 2012 Steve Selsky spent only a portion of a season at Bakersfield but it looked like that was enough as he blistered Cali League pitching for a monster finish to his season. After a brief and unimpressive start at AA this season he’s back there and once again hitting Cali League pitching hard to earn another shot at the higher level.

Selsky Back with Blaze

The Reds recently added a veteran outfielder to their Pensacola roster to add depth and made room for him by sending prospect Steve Selsky back to Bakersfield. Selsky had struggled to start this season after lighting up California League pitching following a promotion from Dayton last year. He’s now back to work on his swing and prepare for another attempt at the next level later.
