Harris will be in his third stint with the Snakes this year...
WASHINGTON (AP) The Arizona Diamondbacks have recalled right-hander Will Harris from Triple-A Reno and optioned right-hander Bradin Hagens to their top farm club.
General manager Kevin Towers made the announcement Monday prior to Arizona's game at Washington.
This will be Harris' third stint with Arizona this season. He's 0-2 with a 9.24 ERA in 12 relief appearances...

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced on Tuesday that they have once again optioned relief pitcher Will Harris to Triple-A Reno in order to open a roster spot for starting pitcher Mike Bolsinger, who was recalled from Reno. An attempt fill the void left by Bronson Arroyo who has joined a plethora of names on the Diamondbacks disabled list.
Kirk Gibson and third baseman Martin Prado made sure that Will Harris knew that they appreciated his efforts on Friday night when the Diamondbacks took on the Braves. As Will was getting pulled in the 7th inning he fell prey to the very rare double butt slap which made for a fantastic photo.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have placed right-handed pitcher J.J. Putz on the 15-day disabled list due to a strain of his right elbow. Taking his place on the active roster is Will Harris whom the club recalled from their Triple-A Reno minor league affiliate. Expect Putz to miss more than the standard two-plus weeks. For the interim look for Heath Bell to take over the closers role...
