UFC President Dana White is never one to be shy when it comes to the best interest of the UFC. In recent times, the bravehearted spokesman for the UFC was asked if there were any possibilities in the near future that we may see a Jon Jones and Anderson Silva fight, and he quoted, “My job is to give the fans what they want to see, we’re in the fight business and if the fans want to see Jon Jones and Anderson Silva fight, then they will fight. They fight whoever we tell them to fight.” He also spoke on why the UFC has gotten as big as it is today, but still haven’t come close to yet reaching its peak.   Some would argue that Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Bones Jones and Middleweight Champion Anderson The Spider Silva are the best two UFC fighters on the planet. Their rise to stardum is one thing, but embracing that rise is something special. Anderson The Spider Silva came to the UFC via Pride Fighting Championship to face Chris Leben. After demolishing the Crippler, Silva got a shot at Middleweight Champ Rich Franklin, destroying him with the best display of Muay Thai you wouldn’t see from other UFC fighter. Since then, Anderson Silva has embrace the throne he rightfully sits on. “Jon Bones Jones is arguably the greatest talent the UFC has ever known”, was quoted by UFC commentator Joe Rogan on UFC tonight; and if it weren’t for Anderson Silva being present, you can make a case for Jones being number one in the UFC right now. Jones is currently at  a pace even Anderson Silva can’t match, if Jon Jones remains undefeated. After all, he is the UFC’s youngest champion to date; fighting only a handful of times before crushing Mauricio Shogun Rua for the light heavyweight title when he was only 23 years of age. He also remains undefeated after capturing the light heavyweight belt. In one case or another, both fighters have overcome the type of adversity that no other champion, besides UFC Featherweight Champ Jose Aldo share at this point. The will to win. Anderson somehow managed to escape a Chael Sonnen beatdown in their first fight, to only close Sonnen’s mouth for good after a 2nd round tko in their rematch; which is still the biggest UFC fight to date. Jonny Bones Jones on the other hand had somewhat of a different challenge. In the figt with Vitor Belfort, Jone’s right arm was at risk when Vitor slapped a armbar early in the fight, causing Jones to have to wiggle his way out of what was considered to be a pretty tight grip by Belfort. Well, not only did Jones avoid breaking his arm, but was able to ultimately submit Vitor later on in the fight. But, the question will always remain for as long as both fighters stay undefeated. If Jon Bones Jones and Anderson The Spider Sliva were to ever face each other inside the octagon, who would win? There’s one way of comparing, and that’s to see just how Jon Jones plan to attack Chael Sonnen in their upcoming bout in April, a fighter that is inarguably the biggest challenge of Anderson Silva’s career.

UFC Denies Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson Right to Wear Reebok

Anderson Silva, Jon Jones and Junior dos Santos have received plenty of props for being the only UFC fighters to don the legendary Swoosh. However, it appears the planet’s premier mixed martial arts promotion isn’t nearly as stoked to have one of Nike’s biggest rivals advertising in their Octagon. Despite signing an endorsement deal with Reebok a couple of months back, former...

Jon Jones Responds to Daniel Cormier’s Call Out

Nike isn’t simply Jon Jones’ (Pictured) biggest sponsor, their “Just do it” mantra has become a way of life for the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion. That’s why Jones didn’t bat an eye when Daniel Cormier threatened to “kick his ass” during Saturday’s live Showtime broadcast. While there aren’t many men walking God’s green earth that have dared to challenge...

Weekend in Violence 3 Stars: Saffiedine, Cormier, 'Jacare' send Strikeforce out with style

Saturday night would be the final time we would see fighters don those famous red and blue Strikeforce 8 oz. gloves. Oklahoma City, not San Jose where the company was based and saw most of it's memorable moments, would be the setting for the final show in Strikeforce history. While the promotion didn't exactly go out with a bang, it was a very stellar card from top to bottom...

Chandler Jones won’t even tell his own brother the status of his injury

The New England Patriots have a very simple policy in place within their entire organization when it comes to injures — don’t say a word. Bill Belichick provides the absolute minimum amount of information that the league requires him to provide when players are hurt. And even then, he still lies. Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones will be facing his brother, Baltimore Ravens...
