28 year old Bellator Fighter Daniel Straus has been arrested in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on four counts of traffic and drug charges.
MMAjunkie.com has confirmed that Straus was charged with driving on a suspended license, possession of cannabis of more than 20 grams, possession of MDMA/ecstasy, and use or possession of drug paraphernalia.
Straus has a record of 21-4 in MMA events and a 7-1 Bellator record. He won last year’s Season 6 feather weight tournament and was in line to challenge champion Pat Curran before he broke his hand a month ago.
Straus is currently being held on $2,200 bond in the North Broward Bureau Detention Facility in Pompano Beach, FL.
