Dana White confirmed after UFC 159 that with a win over Mark Hunt at UFC 160 Junior Dos Santos will fight Cain Velasquez for the third time. Both fighters are clearly the two best in the division and in my opinion will fight five times in their career. In their first match JDS knocked out Velasquez in just over a minute of the first round in the UFC’s debut on FOX. However in their next bout Velasquez gave Dos Santos a very lop sided beating, and one that left many people, including myself, wondering how JDS made it through all twenty five minutes. Dos Santos is yet to compete since that fight at UFC 155 and it is a big question how he will rebound from that loss. Both guys will fight at UFC 160 on May 25th and it will be a great determinant on how their next fight could go.

Last Saturday’s UFC event was probably one of the strangest shows in a long time. It could’ve been the final haunting by the ghost of UFC 151, or it could’ve just been one of those nights where nothing goes as planned. Sometimes these things happen in MMA. We saw multiple fights end early, and Gian Villante and Ovince St. Preux. Villante was poked in the eye, and when the...
American Rapper Waka Flocka was at UFC 159 in New Jersey this weekend and managed to snap a picture with UFC president Dana White.

Ultimate Fighting Championship president Dana White had big plans for his return to Boston on Aug. 17, when UFC is scheduled to fill up TD Garden for the launch of Fox Sports 1.
He has even bigger plans now that his city is dealing with the long recovery from the events surrounding this year’s Boston Marathon.
White was in Boston this week with the goal of raising money for The...
Makes sense what Dana says here how by not being regulated in New York it is hurting the state more than the UFC. Still having an event in MSG would be a big payday for the company. Hopefully this BS can be worked out sooner rather than later. Thanks to MMA Fighting for the video.

UFC heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez takes the time to snap a pic with one of his many fans. Cain will be taking on Bigfoot Silva in a rematch at UFC 160 and if you ask me it will go similar to the first fight. Cain dismantled the giant Brazilian at UFC 146, but regardless of the previous fight Silva is coming off a big win over Alistair Overeem and Velasquez wants to stay active...
UFC President Dana White knew all too well what he was doing by even throwing out the words that Silva called him directly after UFC 159′s Jones vs Sonnen beating. He was stirring the pot for a potential superfight vs Silva and Jones.
In the post fight presser White wasted no time throwing that gem out there to get the anticipatory juices flowing for a possible Silva vs Jones...
Junior dos Santos is just one win away from a chance to regain the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight title, according to company president Dana White.
At Saturday's UFC 159 post-fight press conference (watch it here) in Newark, N.J., White confirmed that a victory for "Cigano" over Mark Hunt at UFC 160 next month would put him in the No. 1 contenders...
Cain Velasquez’s heavyweight championship reign: Take Two. After having his first run abruptly stopped by Junior dos Santos, Velasquez looks to make the first successful title defense of his career against a familiar foe.
Despite trouncing Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva just last May, the 265-pounders meet again exactly 364 days later. Silva has posted a pair of (T)KO victories...
It is a rare occasion when you get an inside look at Anderson Silva. Like Water shows a fascinating backstory behind one of the greatest fights and fighters in UFC history yet still left plenty of unanswered questions about who Anderson Silva really is.
Daniel Cormier and the UFC appear to be on two different pages. Cormier seems steadfast in staying at heavyweight, at least for the time being while the UFC would like him to drop to 205. Dana White has upped the stakes by offering Cormier a fast track at the championship.
After thrashing Chael Sonnen this past Saturday at UFC 159, reigning light heavyweight king Jon Jones tied Tito Ortiz (pictured) for the most successful 205-pound title defenses in Octagon history.
While Jones is still one win away from solidifying his spot as the promotion’s most decorated champion in the division, UFC president Dana White believes Jones has already surpassed...
Speculation is running rampant as Dana White confessed that Anderson Silva called him tonight and asked for a specific fight. GSP? Michael Bisbing? Or is it the super fight with Bones Jones we all want to see? Who knows, but Dana also stressed that Anderson has a fight with Chris Weidman that needs to be taken care of first. Could we see Jones vs Silva in late 2013? We...
Cats may have nine lives, but UFC president Dana White says Leonard Garcia’s (pictured) UFC career will likely stop at five.
After dropping his fifth consecutive scrap in a lopsided unanimous decision defeat to Cody McKenzie at UFC 159, White didn’t outright fire the featherweight, but insinuated the writing was already plastered all over the cage wall.
“He got beat,” White...
ESPN personality Stuart Scott attended the UFC fights last night, Scott tweeted ”Superb & bizarre night of fights at @ufc 158. Broken toes, feet, eye pokes.. But intense action. Thank U @DanaWhite” He needed to add Demonic Voices to that list…We will excuse Stuart for not knowing it was UFC 159. Good to see his health is back and doing great.
