UFC on FOX 8 finally has a headlining fight and it is what many people expected. UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson requested to be on this card since he lives just outside of Seattle and wanted a chance to fight in front of his hometown crowd. He will be facing number four ranked John Moraga. The two were suppose to throw down earlier this month at the TUF 17 Finale but the fight was canceled due to a shoulder injury suffered by Johnson. Rehab has been going well for the champ and he will be ready to go on July 27th. This is a stacked card as Rory MacDonald and Jake Ellenberger are set to fight as well as women’s bantamweights Liz Carmouche and Miesha Tate. The UFC is really taking advantage of this FOX deal and whenever you can get a title fight on free TV it is a must watch.
