Yves Edwards wasn't going to wilt because of one nasty loss. The 14-year veteran rebounded by pounding out Rafaello Oliveira at the 2:44 mark of the second round in the final undercard fight of UFC on Versus 6 on Facebook. Edwards (41-17-1) picked up his ninth win with the UFC. An old-timer, Edwards celebrated his 35th birthday yesterday. He first fought for the promotion way back in 2001 at UFC 33. This was a big one for Edwards, who was the victim of a brutal one-punch knockout at the hands of Sam Stout in June at UFC 131. In the middle of the second round, Edwards landed a huge right to turn the fight in his favor. Oliveira dropped to his knees, but when he bounced back up he was on wobbly legs. He got backed up to the cage and took some more abuse. The fight got back to the middle of the cage and Oliveira tried fighting back by throwing hard shots, but his hands were low.
