Ediane "India" Gomes was just weeks away from the opportunity of a lifetime. Gomes was riding a four-fight winning streak into a featherweight title eliminator against one of the best female fighters of all-time in Cristiane "Cyborg," but an untimely rib injury has forced "India" to wait on the sidelines.  Stepping in for Gomes will be Queensland's own Fiona Muxlow. She'll bring a 6-2 record into the Invicta cage inside of the Ameristar Casino Hotel when she faces off against one of Chute Boxe's most lethal finisher in Cyborg Santos. If Gomes is one of the few fighters that could have a fighting chance against Cyborg, Muxlow may just have a punchers chances, if that.  Having failed her Strikeforce post-fight drug test back in December of 2011, this will be Lady Cyborg's first fight back after spending over a year away from competition. The victor of Cyborg vs. Muxlow will be given a shot at the inaugural Invicta FC featherweight strap against submission specialist Marloes "Rumina" Coenen at the promotions 6th event. For Cyborg this would give her the chance to be put right back into the top pound for pound female fighter in the world conversation with Ronda Rousey. For Muxlow, it would give her a chance to avenge the loss she suffered on New Years Eve via armbar on the annual DREAM card in Saitama.  Invicta FC 5: Penne vs. Waterson coverage
