That’s a weird request from a fan but The Dragon is happy to oblige. I really hope Lyoto can put on an exciting fight this Saturday because his last outing really was terrible.

In a shocking judges’ decision last night, Phil Davis defeated the former lightweight champion Lyoto Machida unanimously. Even more surprising was that this fight took place in Brazil and Machida is Brazilian. Even with this being the case, everyone watching the fight believed Machida controlled the 3-round bout and should have won the fight.

Lyoto Machida is on the verge of another shot at the title but he has to be more exciting in order to get it. His latest match against Dan Henderson was terrible and I am worried this fight will be similar.

Another week, another light UFC card in Brazil. The big name fighters seem to be blurred out by the unfamiliar Brazilians with no Wikipedia pages. What did we expect though? It's the week before the strongest fight card shown on free tv in history and is in the shadows of (injury bug allowing) the most stacked half-year of MMA ever seen. Anthony Pettis getting injured also didn...
Now that the dust has settled on UFC 163, fans will be debating the controversial verdict between Phil Davis (pictured) and Lyoto Machida for days to come – some, perhaps forever.

Phil Davis pulled off the impossible on Saturday night at UFC 163. No, beating former light heavyweight champ Lyoto Machida (pictured) wasn’t his miraculous accomplishment, even though Machida was nearly a 4-to-1 odds-on favorite to hand Davis his second professional defeat, but Davis took a close fight in Machida’s homeland of Brazil.
Most journalists sitting press row believed...
Lyoto Machida has a long history of decimating wrestlers, from Tito Ortiz, to Rashad Evans to Ryan Bader and even Dan Henderson, although he rarely uses his wrestling anymore. Maybe Lyoto has the wrestlers figured out to a degree most don’t, but then again, Phil Davis is reaching another level in his martial arts training.
This is probably UFC 163′s most important fight, considering...

Will it be feeding time for the Zombie? Is capturing the UFC featherweight title the only way to fully quench his hunger? Or will it be the Jose Aldo show once again...
Lyoto has faced some very good wrestlers in his career and beat all of them with the exception of Jon Jones. Davis will really need to take it to Machida which is much easier said than done.
